When our friend, wife, sister, daughter, mother and just all-around beautiful person Elizabeth Murray lost her battle with metastatic breast cancer in 2022, we wanted to honor her fight. So we decided we are going to do our best to keep her memory alive and raise as much money as we can for METAvivor, an organization she loved and cared about. We started off small, raising funds around a planned golf outing. We raised $6,000 at the outing the first year and with corporate matching, were able to donate $12,000. While this was a great first step, we knew we could do better. We got to work and started a 501(c)(3) non-profit, The Lizard Memorial Foundation.
